Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)

A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is a 5-year undergraduate course that prepares students for careers as occupational therapists. A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy prepares one to help individuals of all ages develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. During Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, students gain practical experience through internships or clinical placements in various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, and community organizations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent, having a minimum of 50% marks.

SELECTION OF STUDENTS:- The selection of students for the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course is strictly on a merit basis as decided by the competent authority approved by the Government of Kerala/Kerala University of Health Sciences.

REGISTRATION:-

A candidate seeking admission to the BOT course shall apply for registration

-        By making a formal application online through the LBS/SPMA portal in the prescribed format.

-       Include the Original certificate and mark lists of the qualifying examination.

-       Provide an allotment letter from the competent authority.

-       Furnish Eligibility and migration certificates wherever needed.

-       Present original SSLC/equivalent certificate.
